Profire lightbridge via Thunderbolt MAC/PC ?

Hello everyone.

I'm using a profire lightbridge on a PC with PRO-TOOLS and SONAR mainly. I am planning to upgrade my system this year, and I am really considering using thunderbolt. I have a couple of questions:

1- Is profire lightbridge behaving correctly on thunderbolt? I saw other posts about other firewire devices, but could not really find any on the lightbridge.

2- I am really considering buying a MAC laptop to run Pro-tools on Mac OS and SONAR on Windows 8. Anybody tried using thunderbolt devices on Win 8 on a Mac (bootcamp)?
