I have a vizio tv with an optical output. It has the options on the tv to auto detect or force PCM. I am tying to have the hdmi from my ps3 and PC run the audio signal to the tv. Then I connected the optical output from my tv to the optical input on the 1814. So both devices can be routed to my studio monitors. Is this possible? I have tried many variations under the hardware settings tab with no success. What should the settings be in the maudio control panel to make this work? Or does it not work that way?
