I've recently upgraded my 2010 Imac to Mountain Lion (previously had Leopard with no issues) and initially I was receiving Kernel Panic errors. After unplugging the firewire cable, I was able to get the Imac to boot and finally start up.
When I reconnecting the firewire and opened up garageband and Multitrack studio, I'm now unable to get either program to recognize my soundcard.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling driver version 2.3.3 (ProFireSeries_OSX_2_3_3) and it still isn't being recognized in either program.
Is there a more recent version of the driver that's compatible with Mountain Lion or a plan to update the drivers any time soon? This soundcard has been collecting dust for almost a week and it's incredibly frustrating since I was in the middle of recording demos for a new album and now I'm just sitting here wasting time...
