Hi,
I'm using a Profire 610, current drivers, Windows 64b SP1, onboard sound disabled, Cubase 6.5 with current update and no matter what I do can't get audio out ports 7/8. Everything else works as it should and no other problems. I can change my vst routing in cubase to use 5/6 and no problems. The 1/2, 3/4 headphone routing all works, mic's in etc etc. All good.
I have taken the 610 back to where I bought it from and they checked it out on a mac and said it was fine. The mixer panel meters shows signal fine on 7/8. I can unplug my monitors from 7/8 plug then into 5/6, change vst route in cubase and audio is fine.
This really looks like hardware fault but given the supplier said that it was fine I just don't know where or what else to check. The config is simple and it's got me stuffed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sure I can use 5/6 but I'd like to make sure there's no hardware issue that I ignore and run out of warranty. The unit is a week old.
Cheers,
Mark.
