Hi Everyone... I am just trying to set up a small home recording station for recording and mixing. I have never done this before and it is a bit more confussing than my research turned out to be. At any rate, I have: Pro Tools 9HD, Profire 610, Dell Studio 1737 (Windows 7 Professional 32 bit / SP1, Intel Core2 Duo CPU T6500, Bios: A09, 4gb RAM. All current updates and drivers. I installed the driver for the Profire 610 (6.0.9) which went fine and shows the icon in my stsem tray, shut down and connected the Firewire cable from my laptop (4 pin) to the 610 (6 pin), using the power adapter given with 610, turn on the 610 and wait a bit, turn on my laptop and try open the M-Audio software and I keep getting "Audio Device Cannot Be Found" If you need more spec info please let me know and I will reply with it. Do I need a Macbook Pro?
