Hi, I'm using a mic with XLR plug, which I connected to the front of my FireWire 410. I tested all different switches of the mic and of the FireWire 410, but no signal is coming ... sometimes I see a little bit of a signal in the FireWire Mixer Control Panel ... but that seems not to be the proper signal ... when I record, there is no signal being recorded.
How would i go ahead to step by step find out the right setup ? The mic so far should be ok, i borrowed it from a working setup at another location in town, so can't directly test it back there.
